22 Stops / Public Performance

The audience is invited to walk in silence, following the performer through the city. Each stop is marked in chalk, a temporary sign of presence and absence, guiding the audience to stand where the unfolding action can be most deeply felt. Participants are free to stay as long as they wish during the walk. They are encouraged to keep photography to a minimum and to move through the city’s streets with care. The body frames the city; the city frames the body.

Το κοινό καλείται να περπατήσει σε σιωπή, ακολουθώντας τον/την performer μέσα στην πόλη. Κάθε στάση σημειώνεται με κιμωλία, ένα προσωρινό σημάδι παρουσίας και απουσίας, καθοδηγώντας το κοινό να σταθεί εκεί όπου η εκάστοτε δράση μπορεί να βιωθεί πιο έντονα. Οι συμμετέχοντες μπορούν να παραμείνουν όσο θέλουν κατά τη διάρκεια της διαδρομής. Ενθαρρύνονται να περιορίσουν τη φωτογράφιση και να κινούνται προσεκτικά στους δρόμους της πόλης. Το σώμα πλαισιώνει την πόλη· η πόλη πλαισιώνει το σώμα.
