The Cyprus-born quartet Collectiva Inanna invites you to join a 90-minute creative workshop dedicated to exploring home through the rhythms of the mind and body.
Armed with decades of professional experience in the arts, education, research and the Eastern Mediterranean, the four women will guide participants – attending in person and online – through an exploration of the relationship between body, mind, identity and belonging.
Music, art, discussion, writing and movement all feature, inviting you to intuitively explore and express yourselves. This engaging interactive 90-minute workshop will take you on a journey from mental, physical, social and spiritual displacement to a sense of belonging within and as part of a community.
About your host:
Collectiva Inanna is a Cyprus born creative quartet of women with professional expertise in the arts and education: Reem Maghribi, Maria Kouvarou, Manuella Mavromichalis and Bahriye Kemal. The creative outputs of Collectiva Inanna centre around the themes of displacement, womanhood and the Eastern Mediterranean. In addition to running a number of workshops to enhance intuitive engagement with these themes, the Collectiva has produced, performed and presented diverse creative outputs, including music, animation, film and theatrical performance.
