Το Κουτί (To Kouti)

‘… We are boxes that are easily built, filled, and difficult to empty… Each one of us is a “box” that simultaneously consists of various other “boxes.” Within them, it preserves and hides, conceals…protects. It organizes us, gets lost…’

An alternative, promenade performance of contemporary dance. Our performances will “move” through the city of Larnaca and “bring to life” outdoor/public spaces of the Larnaca city center*. The performers will reveal personal experiential boxes that they have kept hidden… Those that we create to hide what we want to forget but also to protect what we want to remember forever… This “box” often becomes our home.

The performance will consist of two different routes in the center of Larnaca.
First weekend Route A – St Lazarus Area
Second Weekend route B – Europe Square Area
