DESCRIPTION:TOURS – OPEN ARTISTS’ STUDIOS – MUSIC & PERFORMANCE PROGRAM \n\nTOURS by Larnaka Tourism Board \n\nΣτα πλαίσια του 2ου AQPP Festival\, στις 18 και 19 Οκτωβρίου\, το Larnaka Tourism Board διοργανώνει δωρεάν οργανωμένες ξεναγήσεις για το κοινό! Οι καλλιτέχνες ανοίγουν τα εργαστηρια τους και υποδέχονται τους επισκέπτες\, ενώ το Larnaka Tourism Board προσφέρει ξεναγήσεις σε όσους θέλουν να γνωρίσουν την ιστορία της πόλης και της περιοχής\, αλλά και να συναντήσουν τους δημιουργούς στον χώρο τους. \nΟι περιηγήσεις ξεκινούν από το Κάστρο της Λάρνακας στις 16:30 (αγγλικά) και στις 16:45 (ελληνικά)\, με τελικό προορισμό τα ανοιχτά εργαστήρια των καλλιτεχνών στο Πάρκο Μεσόγειος\, στην Πιαλέ Πασιά\, όπου οι βραδιές συνεχίζονται με μουσική και άλλες ευχάριστες εκπλήξεις. \nΚράτηση θέσης απαραίτητη / Αν χρειαστεί να ακυρώσετε\, παρακαλούμε ενημερώστε μας εκ των προτέρων. Καθώς η περιήγηση έχει περιορισμένες θέσεις\, θα θέλαμε να δώσουμε τη δική σας σε κάποιον άλλο \n– \nAs part of the 2nd AQPP Festival\, on 18 and 19 October\, the Larnaka Tourism Board invites the public to join their free guided tours! \nLocal artists will open their studios to visitors\, while the Larnaka Tourism Board offers tours for those who wish to discover the history of the city and the area\, as well as meet the artists in their own creative spaces. \nThe tours start from Larnaka Castle at 16:30 (English)) and 16:45 (Greek) and end at the artists’ open studios in Mesogeios Park\, where the evening continues with live music and other surprises. \nRegistration mandatory / If you need to cancel\, please let us know in advance. SUMMARY:Curator's Walk
DESCRIPTION:The curator’s walk takes place through the streets and shoreline of Larnaca during the Biennale\, where the city itself becomes both setting and subject. Inspired by David Le Breton’s notion of walking as a way of inscribing meaning in the world\, the walk invites participants to encounter Larnaca not as a backdrop but as a living body of memory and movement. \nRather than a conventional guided tour\, the walk becomes a shared choreography of attention. Silence\, listening\, or reflection are introduced as ways of attuning to Larnaca’s layered presence. In this way\, the city reveals itself as archive and stage\, both fragile and enduring. \nThrough the act of walking\, participants inscribe themselves into Larnaca’s ongoing story. Each step creates a fleeting but intimate bond with the city\, echoing Le Breton’s insight that walking is a way of weaving meaning into the fabric of the world\, here experienced in the context of the Biennale as a living\, participatory exhibition. \nStarting Point: Piale Pasa (exact starting point upon registration) \nEnd Point: Larnaca Historic Archives Museum \nAt the conclusion of the walk\, a special guest talk (+40 min) is offered to those who wish to stay further. \nREGISTER NOW
