Larnaca Biennale had its third edition (LB3) from the 11th of October until the 24th of November 2023.

Through an international open call and under the curational theme ‘Home Away from Home ’ , Larnaca Biennale 2023 received 470 artwork proposals (38% increase from the previous LB2) from 60 countries (20 % increase ). From these proposals 101 artworks were selected and 99 presented to the
main exhibition.

The aim of this evaluation report is to provide to the public all main points, figures and facts of Larnaca Biennale 2023 with transparency and objectivity. It is our duty and obligation as an organising team to provide measurable results to the general public , to artists , our supporters and sponsors .

LB3 exceeded expectations with a record of more than 60.000 visitors in the main exhibition and parallel events ( 58% increase from previous editions) and was completed successfully with significant improvements , additions and new collaborations that are reported in this evaluation .

Having taken feedback from artists, collaborators and visitors the Larnaca Biennale Team  we can only ensure that Larnaca Biennale 2025 (LB4) will be more successful, have an even higher impact and serve arts , culture and society with the same passion and commitment.
